Across Dyer & Butler, we’ve been spreading some festive cheer this season, by writing and sending cards to care homes local to our projects.

Started by our Rail Team working on the Franklands’ Embankment project, several of our teams have now taken part in our ‘Cards of Kindness’ campaign.

We’ve set up stations in five of our offices, where our people can take some time to write a card and post them into our post box. We will then be delivering these cards to care homes before the 25 December.

Across all five offices we’ve had 300 cards written by our colleagues, after surpassing our expectations.

We hope that our small, but meaningful act of kindness will help people feel connected and supported this festive season.

Speaking on the campaign, Holly van Driel, Sustainability Advisor at Dyer & Butler, said: “We’realways looking for opportunities to leave a positive legacy in the communities that we work in and writing a card to someone who might be spending the festive season without family allows us to have a meaningful impact to those in our communities at what can be a difficult time for some.

“It’s been brilliant to see such great engagement with the campaign across the business and I would like to thank everyone who wrote a card. I’m sure each card will make someone’s festive period a little bit brighter.”

At M Group Services, we’re proud to work together to create a lasting impact for our people, clients, community and the planet as we as we deliver essential infrastructure for life.
