*A message from Ian Fraser (M Group Services Chairman)*
In March, Jim Arnold shared with you his intention to step down as Group Chief Executive to become the Group’s Non-Executive Deputy Chairman at the end of this calendar year.
As planned, I am pleased to confirm that Andrew Findlay, currently CFO, will be appointed Group Chief Executive on 1 January 2023. Andrew joined the business over 18 months ago and has worked closely with Jim and the Board since then on agreeing the future direction of the Group.
Chris Keen will succeed Andrew as CFO from the same date, sitting as part of the M Group Services Executive Leadership Team.
The Board and I would like to thank Jim for his long service and strategic leadership of the business, as its CEO, over the last six and a half years. In that time the business has doubled in size and has become a leader in UK Infrastructure Services. Jim will remain closely involved in the ongoing development of the business in his new role on the Board as Non-Executive Deputy Chairman reporting to me.

It has been a privilege to have worked for the business, supporting its evolution and growth over the last 24 years. M Group Services is founded on good people, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the business for their support and dedication, that has collectively made us such a success. I look forward to supporting the Board, Andrew and the wider team as the business embarks on its next stage of growth.

I would like to thank Jim for the service he has given to the business. I think we can all recognise that this business has gone from strength to strength under his leadership.
With your support, and with the new members of the Group leadership team in place, I would like to continue the trajectory we have delivered over the last few years. It is clear M Group Services has a fantastic foundation and has huge market opportunities on which to build both organically and via acquisition.
The Board and I remain committed to the successful strategy of the business and our priority will continue to be on growing our business and our capabilities, whilst maintaining our focus on safely providing exceptional services to our clients and their customers, as well as providing a rewarding workplace where everyone can thrive.
