Andrew has been Chief Executive of M Group Services since 2023, having started with the business in 2021. As Chief Executive of M Group Services, Andrew has overall responsibility for the operation and performance of the £1.7bn Group which operates through its four divisions of Water, Energy, Transport and Telecom. Before joining easyJet, Andrew was Chief Financial Officer of Halfords plc and prior to that Director of Finance, Tax and Treasury at Marks and Spencer Group plc. He formerly held senior finance roles with the London Stock Exchange and Cable & Wireless, in the UK and US. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand.
Alain was appointed Chief Operating Officer of M Group Services in July 2022 and is responsible for the Water, Energy, Transport and Telecom Division together with M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions. He joined the business in 2004 to develop our telecom offering to what is currently the UK’s market leader. Alain has over 30 years industry experience gained in the UK, Ireland and Europe. He has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration.
A CFO with over 20 years of experience in a wide range of businesses and disciplines ranging from Argos, Boots , Spirit Pubs, Stonegate Pubs, Holland & Barrett and McKesson UK. In terms of disciplines I have overseen Finance, IT Legal , property and procurement. My mantra is that however good we are at business we can always learn and improve it. This way we drive up the value of our organisation both financially and motivationally.
Chris is a Qualified Chartered accountant with an MBA from Cranfield.
Jim was appointed Executive Director, Support Services, of M Group Services in 2016.
Jim is responsible for the Support Services function of M Group Services which includes Group Procurement, Information Systems, Assurance, Risk Management and Governance. Jim also supports the acquisition and integration process of any new businesses into the M Group Services portfolio.
Andrew was appointed Director of ESG & Innovation in July 2021.Having previously worked within the Group for almost nine years, Andrew has almost 30 years’ experience in the essential infrastructure service sector. Andrew is passionate about ensuring M Group Services is recognised for its outstanding record of environmental protection, health and safety standards, approach to innovation and commitment to the communities in which it operates.
Colin Jellicoe was appointed Group HR Director in October 2019.
Following almost three years at Morrison Utility Services, Colin was appointed as Group HR Director for M Group Services.
Colin’s primary objective will be to provide a Group-wide people strategy, sharing best practice, supporting divisional HR teams and maximising the opportunities for our people across the Group, ensuring we are able to attract, develop and retain the very best people.
Simon was appointed Managing Director of M Group Services’ Energy Division in 2021.
Simon previously worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises, Siemens Metering Services and Eastern Electricity and is CIMA qualified.
Mark was appointed Manging Director – Telecom Division in July 2022.
Mark is responsible for M Group Services’ Telecom Division which includes Morrison Telecom Services, Magdalene, Avonline Networks and Waldon Telecom. Mark joined Magdalene in 2002 and in 20 years has helped oversee the company’s growth, more recently as their Managing Director.
Mark was appointed as Managing Director for M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions in October 2021.
Mark Hamilton joined us as Operations Director in March 2020, having previously held senior roles as Managing Director at PSS (part of A Plant/Sunbelt) and Head of Plant & Logistics Services at Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions.
Adrian joined M Group Services in 2021 following the acquisition of Skanska’s Infrastructure Services business, now rebranded to Milestone Infrastructure. He was appointed Managing Director of this business in 2015 and more recently as Managing Director of Transport Division - Highways in April 2021.
With over 30 years’ experience in highways and civil engineering sectors, Adrian has fulfilled senior leadership positions for Skanska UK and Accord Highways. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Highways and Transportation and has a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Adrian is responsible for the Highways element of the Transport Division which includes Milestone Infrastructure.
