Andrew has been Chief Executive of M Group Services since Jan 2023, having started with the business in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. Andrew has overall responsibility for the operation and performance of our £2bn+ Group which operates through the four client facing divisions of Water, Energy, Transport and Telecom. Before joining M Group Services, Andrew was Chief Financial Officer of easyJet plc and prior to that Chief Financial Officer of Halfords plc. He formerly held senior finance roles with the Marks and Spencer Group plc; London Stock Exchange and Cable & Wireless, in the UK and US. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand.
Chris has been CFO since January 2023. In addition to overseeing the group's finances, Chris is responsible for group procurement, IT and shared services. Chris is a Chartered Accountant, with over 25 years of experience as CFO in a wide range of PE-backed businesses ranging from retail and leisure in Stonegate Pub and Holland & Barrett to pharma distribution with McKesson UK.
Alain was appointed Chief Operating Officer of M Group Services in July 2022 and is responsible for the Water, Energy, Transport and Telecom Division together with M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions. He joined the business in 2004 to develop our telecom offering to what is currently the UK’s market leader. Alain has over 30 years industry experience gained in the UK, Ireland and Europe. He has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration.
Andrew was appointed Director of ESG & Innovation in July 2021. Having previously worked within the Group for almost nine years. Andrew has almost 30 years’ experience in the essential infrastructure service sector, holding senior roles in a number of our client businesses, and in international consultancy. Andrew is passionate about ensuring M Group Services is recognised for its outstanding record of environmental protection, health and safety standards, approach to innovation and commitment to the communities in which it operates.
Colin Jellicoe was appointed Group HR Director in October 2018 following two years at Morrison Utility Services. Colin has over 35 years' experience across a variety of sectors after spending time with Vinci, Samsung and Network Rail. Colin’s primary objective is to lead the Group People Strategy, sharing best practice, supporting divisional HR teams and maximising opportunities, ensuring we attract, develop and retain the best people.
Alex joined M Group Services as Group General Counsel in 2023 bringing over 15 years’ experience advising organisations in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Alex is a highly commercial lawyer who works closely with commercial and legal teams within an organisation to provide pragmatic advice and counsel.
Before joining M Group Services, Alex was Head of Legal for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and Deputy General Counsel at Costain. Alex qualified as a solicitor with Pinsent Masons LLP in 2009.
Jonathan joined M Group Services as Executive Director of M&A in 2022 bringing over 20 years of experience in Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and other senior finance roles. He joined from Petrofac, a global engineering services provider in the energy industry, where he was Head of M&A and Investor Relations. Prior to this, he worked in the investment team at HitecVision, a Norwegian private equity fund focused on the energy sector, and also spent five years at KPMG where he qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant and worked in the oil & gas services M&A team.
Adrian joined M Group Services in 2021 following the acquisition of Skanska’s Infrastructure Services business, now rebranded to Milestone Infrastructure. He was appointed Managing Director of this business in 2015 and more recently as Managing Director of Transport Division - Highways in April 2021.
With over 30 years’ experience in highways and civil engineering sectors, Adrian has fulfilled senior leadership positions for Skanska UK and Accord Highways. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Highways and Transportation and has a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Adrian is responsible for the Highways element of the Transport Division which includes Milestone Infrastructure.
Mike joined M Group Services as Managing Director of the Transport Division - Rail and Aviation in June 2023. Having spent thirty years in construction, Mike brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role. As a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and a Chartered Civil Engineer, Mike is keen to work on the Division’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Simon was appointed Managing Director for the Energy Division in October 2021 and is responsible for developing our strategy across the Energy sector. He joined the company in December 2016 through acquisition, as the Managing Director for Energy Retail where he established the market-leading metering business in the UK. Simon has over 20 years' industry experience having also worked for Eastern Electricity, Siemens and G4S. He is CIMA qualified.
Shaun Joined M Group Plant and Fleet Solutions in 2022 as Director of Fleet, prior to this Shaun worked for Ryder UK where he was Director of Engineering. With over 35 Years’ experience in senior leadership roles across G4S, Bidvest and Arla Foods, with substantial teams and assets. A Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Shaun Chairs industry working groups across UK Logistics and Regulators on Decarbonisation, he has a real passion for improving the Industry and developing people and organisations for the future.
Iain joined M Group Services Water Division in 2023. As an industry leader with almost 30 years of experience in the water and highways sectors, Iain has a strong client focus with the aim of delivering great client outcomes. He is passionate about creating the right environment where people can flourish and reach their full potential. Iain focuses everyone on ‘winning together’ through aligned objectives, focused planning and being relentless in delivery.
Mark was appointed Managing Director – Telecom Division in July 2022 and has overseen the division's significant recent growth to a turnover of over £500m. Mark is responsible for the Division's four operating businesses: Morrison Telecom Services, Magdalene, Avonline Networks and Waldon Telecom. Mark joined Magdalene in 2002 and has helped oversee the company’s growth over 20 years culminating in its sale to M Group Services in 2017. Before Magdalene, Mark spent 12 years at Nokia. Mark is CIMA qualified.
