Across the Group, we are proud to announce we’ve had a number of award wins and shortlistings recently, recognising our commitment to our people, clients and the environment.

Drumroll please…

M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions was shortlisted for the Fleet Safety Innovation Award and highly commended at the UK Fleet Champion Awards, last week. The award recognises our collaboration with Brucom, Motormax and Samsara to create a system that prevents harm to our people, clients and members of the public.

The UK Fleet Champion Awards were created by Brake, the road safety charity that has been working with communities and organisations across the UK since 1995. Brake introduced the Global Fleet Champions campaign which recognises the hard work of fleet teams both in the UK and globally.

Transport Division

Milestone Infrastructure has also added to its tally of trophies across their contracts, recently.

Hampshire Highways, a partnership between Milestone, Hampshire County Council and OCL Regeneration, won two awards as well as being highly commended at the Highways Awards.

The contract’s Carbon Strategy won the Environmental Sustainability and Special Merit Awards. The Special Merit Award is an impressive achievement as the winner is considered the best of the best by the judges. We’re proud of our wins as we were up against Kier and Skanska, two of our competitors.

The Micheldever Road Recycling Facility was also highly commended in the Highways Partnership category.

The Highways Awards, now in their 19th year, celebrate the great and good from across the highways industry.

Milestone’s Cambridge contract won the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) East of England Awards for its work on Histon Road. These awards recognise excellence and innovation in the region. The project also received a commendation at the national ceremony.

The Milestone team will be attending The Green Apple Awards ceremony on 21 November. Milestone will be collecting a number of awards for its work in Somerset, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.

The Green Organisation launched the awards in 1994 and since they have become one of the most popular environmental campaigns in the world. The international awards recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.

Congratulations to all the teams who have won awards and been shortlisted. We are proud to see the hard work and forward thinking of our people across the Divisions being recognised. These successes highlight the steps the Group is taking to achieve our vision of being the leading service provider for essential infrastructure in the UK and Ireland, recognising our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
