M Group Services has written to the United Nations committing to join the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
The UN Global Compact centres around 10 principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and M Group Services has expressed its intent to make these principles part of its strategy, culture and day-to-day operations.
M Group Services will engage in collaborative actions which will enhance the broader development goals of the UN, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals. In October 2021, the Group’s ESG Report highlighted seven of the Sustainable Development Goals as areas for the greatest positive impact.
As part of this commitment, M Group Services will recognise the requirement for an annual submission of a Communication on Progress (COP), which will describe the steps M Group Services has taken in implementing the ten principles.
Sustainability is all its forms is a core focus of M Group Services and its operating businesses. By committing to join the UN Global Compact, M Group Services will continue creating a working environment in which its people can learn, develop and grow, while also implementing working practices which support the sustainability of our natural environment.

M Group Services’ commitment to join the UN Global Compact follows the announcement of its intent to sign up to the Science Based Targets initiative. By playing an active role in the UN Global Compact and the Science Based Targets initiative, M Group Services will continue to make progress in all aspects of its Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) activities.
