M Group Services (‘the Group’), a leading provider of services to essential infrastructure markets in the UK and Ireland, has completed the acquisition of wireless telecom infrastructure service provider, Waldon Telecom.

Waldon Telecom works across the wider mobile telecom market and provides Acquisition, Design, and Construction (ADC) services. Waldon Telecom have long-term, established relationships with some of the key clients in the sector such as MBNL, CTIL, and Three.

The mobile telecom market in the UK is worth around c.£750m p.a. and the acquisition of Waldon Telecom allows M Group Services to further enhance its mobile offering and capitalise on the ongoing 5G rollout.

Waldon Telecom will continue to operate as a standalone brand under the leadership of Managing Director and co-founder, Phil James, working closely with Mark Turner, Managing Director of Magdalene.

The acquisition of Waldon Telecom takes the total number of strategic acquisitions made by M Group Services to 13 since December 2016.
