We are delighted to announce that our ongoing commitment to health, safety and wellbeing has been recognised with the award of 16 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards across M Group Services and our operating businesses.

Alongside seven Gold Awards, operating businesses from across our Group have been recognised with four Orders of Distinction and a President’s Award, presented to businesses sustaining the high standards of Gold award level over consecutive years.

RoSPA’s annual awards are one of the most prestigious and recognised schemes in the world, achieving success is a clear demonstration of good safety performance.

Energy Division

Morrison Energy Services has received The RoSPA Construction Sector Award. This is the eighth time Morrison Energy Services has received the Construction Sector Award in the last 10 years.

Morrison Energy Services was also recognised for its commitment to the safety of its people with a ‘Distinction’ in the British Safety Council International Safety Award.

Morrison Data Services was awarded a ‘Distinction’ in the British Safety Council International Safety Award alongside a RoSPA Gold Award.

Water Division

Z- Tech received the Order of Distinction (after being awarded 16 consecutive Gold Awards) for its outstanding health and safety performance in 2023.

Jonathan Higgins, Business Director at Z-Tech, said: “We are all thrilled with obtaining our 16th consecutive RoSPA gold award for 2023’s performance and being bestowed again with RoSPA’s order of distinction. This is an incredible milestone that is a testament to our dedication to safety excellence and the relentless pursuit of the highest standards through collaboration and teamwork.”

Telecom Division

Across our Telecom Division, each operating business saw success in achieving Gold Award. This marks the third year in a row that Morrison Telecom Services, Avonline Networks and Magdalene have been awarded gold.

This is the second time Waldon has achieved gold status.

Transport Division

In recognition of its commitment to health and safety in the rail and aviation sector, Dyer & Butler received an Order of Distinction Award, alongside its first ever Fleet Gold Award.

A further two Orders of Distinction were won in association with longstanding clients, Heathrow Airport and London Gatwick. Dyer & Butler’s rail team also achieved the President's Award, for achieving Gold status on 13 consecutive occasions.

KH Engineering and Antagrade Electrical were both recognised with the Gold Award.

This is a testament to the hard work across each business to ensure our people and the public are kept safe, in line with M Group Services’ behavioural safety programme, ‘It Starts with Me.’”

M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions

M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions (MGSPFS) endeavours to provide commercially effective vehicles, plant and specialist equipment, ensuring they are safe, compliant and fit for purpose. It is delighted to achieve Gold Award.

Mark Dixon, Head of SHEQ at MGSPFS, said: “The RoSPA Gold Award for the eighth consecutive year is a collective achievement that celebrates the hard work, diligence and teamwork of every individual in our organisation.”
