M Group Services’ Water Division were delighted to hold our Divisional Senior Manager’s Conference, yesterday.
With the focus centred around unifying our businesses, the theme of the day was ‘One Team’, utilising expertise from across M Group Services and delivering solutions for our clients.
Held at The Belfry, Birmingham, Kevin Parcell, Area Director at Morrison Water Services, welcomed colleagues from across our Division. Senior leaders from our operating businesses, Morrison Water Services, ID Systems, PMP Utilities and Z-Tech, travelled from across the UK to join us.
Our conference started with Iain Sutherland, the Water Division’s Managing Director, setting out the Divisions plan for the next five years.
We want to thank our guest speakers from GHD. Simon Light, CEO, talked about teamwork and empowering teams to enhance experience and productivity; and John Hensman, Business Director, shared his insights into the water market and where it’s heading in the future.
A special thanks also goes to Andrew Hall who dialled in from Hong Kong to talk to us about working in sport and the practice of caring determination.
In the evening, we heard from Guy Bloom, Executive Coach at Living Brave, who generated a lot of enthusiasm when encouraging people to challenge their ways of thinking about themselves and others.
Our speakers from across our Division highlighted the steps we’re taking towards even greater success, discussing themes including health and safety, striving for technical excellence and collaboration across our MEICA businesses. There was also a focus on our People Strategy and everything we’re putting in place to provide opportunities to support and develop our people.
The conference concluded with Andrew Findlay, Chief Executive Officer, discussing M Group Services’ ambitions for the future.
Overall, the day provided an opportunity for senior leaders across our Division to come together collaboratively, as we work to develop and continuing on our journey of success.
